Skip three years in the future...We have our ring. We lead our division. We WILL win the NFC. Seahawks 27 Saints 17
true]
they really didnt smash them in the playoffs, in the season i can see that. But not in the playoffs. And plus the seahawks won the super bowl that year by paying the Denver Broncos the game so yall can win. So whos the losers now. They even investigated the game after cause everybody knew something was wrong.
Wilson also threw the ball almost half the amount of times that Brees did. It's very hard to compare two guys when they have two offenses that play completely different styles of football. I guess you could look at QB rating where they are only separated by 3 points.
You all need to shut the "F" up on both sides. Just a bunch time wasting BS. Two great teams meeting for an epic battle and should be awesome, I hope, since I am a Saints Fan. But really all the stats and bellicose prognostication is a waste. They will tee it up on Saturday afternoon and 3.5 hours later it will be decided. Then the fans of the team that wins will have a real good reason to gloat, until then we need to get all our sorry butts back to work and just shut the "F" up till kick off. Good Luck and the best team will move on. Pretty straight forward don't you think?
Say what you will. The regular season is OVER/DONE this is the playoffs buddy. We want it and we want it bad. We know we got the haters in the thick. Don't ever try to compare you quarterback to ours. What a JOKE!!! And to the hothead who made the comment about , "all of our eggs in one basket". We are a team baby. BELIEVE DAT!! We stand strong THE WHO DAT NATION
I'm a Seahawks fan, but seriously? This 49er-Seahawks fan clashings and name callings are pointless, stupid, and is prepubescent behavior. The 49ers have done exceptionally well this season (not as good as us though; we'll always beat them, home at least, away, it'd be extremely difficult for them to beat us). Every sports team has bandwagoners fans, but not all fans are bandwagoners, remember that, and don't fool yourselves into thinking differently.
no team is better than Brady and the pats, they are in the superbowl 50% of the time and has been to the superbowl more than any team has even been to division championships. Brady = G.O.A.T. Highest playoff wins belongs to patriots. owned.
***Correction*** -says the fan whose team finished the season with the best record in the NFL (oh yeah, and smashed the saints!)
Actually we're holding on to a 34-7 blow out. Which came on the arm of Russell Wilson.
Thing you and the other Brees worshipers don't seem to get that even with your experienced and seasoned QB, Seattle still had a better record at 13-3 with Wilson a new QB. What does that say about New Orleans? they have a lesser team over-all compared to Seattle...Seattle SHUT Brees DOWN IN CLINK LAST TIME DUE TO OUR #1 DEFENSE. In the playoffs, put #1 defense in to shut down Breese and turn on the wheels of Wilson and you have another CLINK shut out sending drew brees back to locker room with little more then personal statistics to read while watching the Seahawks in the Superbowl.
Seattle wins as a team. We don't put all our eggs in one basket like the Saints do... it takes more then a good QB to win and if you haven't noticed Brees got smoked and humiliated in CLINK this year no reason to believe he will do much better in the playoffs in CLINK. 13-3 Seattle 11-5 New Orleans...enough said.
That's right Hawks Win! who dat saints
Awesome!!!!!
Hear hear!! Go Hawks! Keeping our fingers crossed!!!
I can not wait for this game, I'm really excited. Football is a great game and I love the previews for this game... "It's not a playoff game, it just feels like one." Even DangeRuss said Drew Brees is a great QB, so if they can respect each other, I can respect great players! No bandwagon here either... Been a Hawk fan from day one. The days of Steve Largent, Jim Zorn, etc... Either way it goes, I'm proud of the Seahawks... play with all their hearts, win or lose...That's the name of the game! I actually like the Saints, I just don't want them to win...lol And as far as scoring....I love what the great Dirk Newinski said in a post game interview. He scored a bazillion points but Mavs lost anyway. They asked him how it felt to score so many points like he did and his response..."Scoring a bunch of points means nothing if you don't win" --- GO HAWKS!!!!!! :)
ATTENTION: STOP saying "we" and "our" when referring to your favorite team. You DONT play for them and you will never play professional sports. That is why you are on this site. Myself included. That's like if my favorite fast food was Burger King and I always said "WE have the best burgers." That being said, this is going to be a great game. I'm a Seattle fan but I'm really nervous. That team for NO is filthy.
"Butt hurt from a Jets loss" lol- says the fan whose team had to go into overtime with a Texans team that is currently the worst in the NFL.
When were Brady or Manning even brought into the conversation? Weren't we talking about Wilson and Brees? Read the whole thread before making your own idiotic comments my friend.
that was the most idiotic thing ive heard, drew brees is on the same level as Manning and Brady...
go jaguars...
Is pot legal in New Orleans? Cause you've been doing something to get a 4 week suspension. Maybe you and Browner can hang together. Got to agree that after RGIII got hammered he doesn't seem the same, too bad, I like the guy. Kaepernick is a different kettle. He has lots of skills but if things don't go his way he seems to fold like cheap tail gate chairs. Drew is a proven entity of course. Seattle makes mistakes and Drew doesn't, it's over. Running down Russel isn't a good idea, should the Saints get stomped you'll just be remembered as the moron.
First off, Drew Brees IS "all that"- having youth in professional sports is not. Taking into consideration that Drew Brees is a seasoned, accomplished veteran with multiple records and more to come (already in the top 5 passing yardage ever), I'll sacrifice a little strength and speed on his end for experience and consistency. A QB's true strength lies in his decision making abilities, which comes from knowledge gained with experience- not from strength, speed or youth. Russell Wilson is the lesser QB by far, so your "point" is moot. This will be a great game. I'm pulling for New Orleans. After all, Seattle's odds of losing at home increase more and more with every game played there. All good things must come to an end, and so will the Seahawks home streak. New Orleans is the team to do it right now.
There is always a problem when you have a good running team matched up to a good passing team. If Seattle can run (by run I mean Wilson, short throws, and Lynch) they eat up so much time, Drew will be forced into the classic quick drill to keep up. This does two things. a. It fails to rest their defense and b. is problematic considering Seattle's defense is based on that exact scenario. If Saints stop Lynch or the short Wilson game, then they win. However, one factor that is coming into play is Harvin. Lately teams have been running 8 in the box against Seattle. That caused problems until they figured out that the outside is almost always open. Harvin is the outside guy and is very, very good at one on one. If Saints have to double cover or zone then Wilson has a field day.
Yeah, even as a Seattle fan it's obvious that Brees is head and shoulders above Wilson as a passer. Thankfully we've also got the Beast and a great offense, so I still think we'll pull out the win. It should be a great game either way.
